At FirstFleet safety is not only promoted and recognized, but it is required by everyone in the organization.  We are proud to employ and recognize individuals who demonstrate safe driving and working habits through a series of incentive programs. Through continual process refinement and evolution we are always looking for ways to make the roads and our work environments safer and better places to be. The million mile club is a group of drivers who have been recognized for their outstanding demonstration of service in the duration and safety of their driving record. To be included in this group a driver must travel one or two million miles without an preventable accident. Drivers in this group are recognized in ceremony, truck badging and compensation. Our dedicated team of safety professionals are tasked with making our organization a safer place to work which in turn makes us better able to provide excellent service to our business partners. Some of the processes we employ around the country include the following.
 
Late Model Equipment
By utilizing the latest advances in transportation technology we provide are able to invest in safer environments for our drivers and those we share the road with.
 
Mobile Device Tracking
Providing tools to better authenticate driver activities and trends with the end goal being safer driving habits and more effective customer service.
 
Stability Control Devices
In cab technology that provides drive assistance and stability control to reduce the number of incidents where a stability event could trigger an accident.
 
Critical Event Reporting
Electronic delivery of critical drive events with real-time notification. Drivers with events are consulted and if necessary provided with additional training.
 
Comprehensive Log Auditing
By performing extensive in house log auditing we are able to ensure compliance with corporate, DOT and Federal mandates that make us a safe carrier.
 
Comprehensive Incident Review and Training
Extensive post incident reviews are conducted with any employee involved in an incident. Additional follow-up training and/or process change is provided to reduce future risk.
