The first 10 months of this year have brought about many conversations with FirstFleet’s driver population. These have been through driver safety meetings, online driver surveys and general discussions in driver breakfast meetings. These conversations have centered around the company’s desire to acknowledge and meet every employee’s hopes and desires for the best workplace for everyone. These interactions have helped us greatly in this process and we are grateful for the feedback you have provided.

Brian Imhoff spends hours upon hours each week managing the fleet based in Ames, Iowa. He has worked in this role since September 2004. Brian is our featured Wellness Hero this week due to some recent changes he made in his lifestyle and nutrition after the Biometric testing at his location in 2014.

As Brian explains in the attached video, he was not satisfied with some of his results/markers from the test, and he realized it was time to make some changes.

The annual open enrollment for the 2016 benefit year will end as of 10/31/15. Many locations are continuing to have enrollment meetings right up to October 31st, and the website is available 24-7 up until midnight October 31st. The call center will only be available up to 5:00 p.m. on Friday October 30th.

To enroll by telephone Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. EST, call 1-866-294-4050 by October 30, 2015. A benefit counselor will explain all the options available to you and your covered dependents.

As in past years, between October 1st and October 31st, you have the opportunity to enroll one of three ways; during an on-site enrollment meeting, via telephone at the designated call center, or directly by visiting the open enrollment website.

For most locations with 10 or more employees, managers have worked with Colonial Life to set up on-site enrollment meetings where every eligible employee may meet in a private 1-to-1 session with a benefit counselor. Check with your fleet manager to see if your location will be having enrollment meetings on site and if so, when that meeting has been scheduled.
