As we enter the holiday season and approach the end of the year, it’s a time of year that the thoughts of many people turn to gifts – a time of giving gifts to children and to each other and a time of reflecting and being thankful for the many kinds of gifts we have received. It’s also a time of year when we gather with family and reminisce of years past.

I’m truly grateful for our FirstFleet family and appreciate the hard work of the thousands of people (drivers, mechanics, office workers and others) who go above and beyond the call of duty every day, in often difficult conditions, to make sure we live up to our core values. I thank you for your part in making sure that the food for Christmas dinner is on the table and the boxes are ready for the presents around the tree.

It's easy to get caught up in the day-to-day pressures of the season and I realize that many of you will have a very busy schedule right up until Christmas day. I hope that during all the holidays celebrated by our diverse work family, you can find time to quietly reflect on the wonderful blessings that we have - living in this country and being a part of the FirstFleet team.

I wish you peace and joy throughout this Christmas season and a very happy and healthy New Year in 2024.
