As we come together to celebrate our nation’s 250th, it’s a good time to remember what this holiday is about. “Freedom has its life in the hearts, the actions, the spirit of men and so it must be daily earned and refreshed—else like a flower cut from its life-giving roots, it will wither and die.” Dwight D. Eisenhower said that in 1963, and it still hits home today. Freedom isn’t automatic; it’s something we live out, protect, and appreciate every single day.
We appreciate you and THANK YOU for what you do each day to keep America moving forward. Some of you will be on the road today, and we are grateful for your service to the supply chain of this great country. The groceries, bread, boxes, paper, and beverages you deliver are quite literally a lifeline to our great country.
Be safe out there, enjoy the 250th celebration of the United States of America, and THANK YOU for all you do.
