Open Enrollment is quickly coming to an end.  This Sunday, October 31st will be your last opportunity to make changes to your current benefits and dependents unless you have a Life Event.  You don’t have to do anything if you want to keep all of your benefit elections the same in 2022.  They will simply rollover, uninterrupted into the new year.  The only exception is to your Flexible Spending Account.   If you still need to make benefit elections for 2022 you will need to use one of the enrollment options below before October 31st.

We hope by now you have had the opportunity to visit our online information and enrollment page during this year’s Open Enrollment.  Open Enrollment is almost coming to an end.  October 31st will be your last opportunity to make changes to your current benefits and dependents unless you have a Life Event.  If you don’t need to make any changes to your current benefits, there is nothing for you to do.   Your benefits will simply rollover, uninterrupted into the new year.  The only exception is to your Flexible Spending Account.   If you want a Flexible Spending account again in 2022 you will need to use one of the 3 enrollment options below to make that election.

Earlier today an email was sent in error indicating that an Open Enrollment Task was awaiting you in Workday. Pease be advised that this email was sent prematurely as Open Enrollment does not begin until October 1st, 2021. In a few weeks there will be a valid invitation to begin open enrollment, but the item you received today can safely be deleted and ignored. Please accept my apologies for this mistake and inconvenience. When we get closer to October 1st you will receive a new invitation with additional instructions that will allow you to participate in this year’s Open Enrollment process.

FirstFleet is proud to announce that we are transitioning to Workday as a software partner to help manage our business. Starting August 30th employees will see a slightly different experience when using some resources on our website and in our mobile application. Specifically, you will see changes to tools that help you manage benefits, time cards, vacation requests, updating contact information, direct deposit information, and more. This advancement allows us to continue the trajectory of growth and provide first class tools for our employees.

Memorial Day is really a day set aside to remember those that have lost their lives while serving in the US military.  And when we forget to honor those fallen men and women then we also forget the blessing that they gave us.

As 2020 has now come to a close, we know many of you are anxiously awaiting your 2020 W-2 in order to begin your tax filing process.

Current and previous employees are NOW able to access their W-2 on-line through the FirstFleet portal. This process is very simple and similar to the process everyone uses to access their weekly pay information today. Those who do not download the tax forms online will have forms mailed by 1/31/2021. We hope you find this method of retrieval helpful in your tax filing process.

Most of us can probably agree that 2020 will be a year we will never forget with so many things happening on a national and global level.  Between the COVID pandemic that started nearly a year ago, major storms across the country, wildfires that have ravaged parts of our country, as well as other struggles we have each had on different levels, we can probably all agree that we are looking forward to this new year ahead of us.  But as we look back to last year, we can reflect on the many areas in our lives where we can be thankful for coming through it successfully.

As we approach Christmas and the holiday season, we would like to take this moment to say thank you to our employees.  We have endured several losses this year of operations personnel, drivers, our founding father, and most importantly family members.  We want to keep these families in our thoughts and prayers as we go through these holiday times.  We have endured a global pandemic while at the same time having record loads hauled per week keeping the public supplied with groceries, bread, and paper products.  We were able to transition our entire fleet of 3000 trucks to a new in-cab devices and complete 3 start-ups!  I have never been more proud to work for this company than in this year.

Happy Thanksgiving FirstFleet!

This year has certainly been a tough one but those of us at FirstFleet have a lot to be thankful for.  Even though our family gatherings may look different this year, we still shouldn’t miss this opportunity to tell everything we have to be thankful for.
