CVSA’s Roadcheck 2017 is to be held June 6-8, 2017 with special emphasis on cargo securement. Over this 72-hour period, CVSA-certified commercial motor vehicle inspectors throughout North America will conduct inspections of commercial motor vehicles and their drivers.
While flatbed loads will be the easiest to inspect don’t think for one minute if you have a sealed load and even a lock on your van trailer they won’t inspect your load. The inspectors have the authority to cut the lock and break the seal in order to inspect your load for proper securement. Please make sure your load is properly secure before departing on your trip. Will you and your vehicle be ready?
