Open Enrollment for the 2016 plan year starts on October 1st!

By now each of you should have received an Open Enrollment benefit packet with important information regarding enrollment opportunities and changes for the upcoming 2016 benefit year.

As in past years, between October 1st and October 31st, you'll have the opportunity to enroll one of three ways; during an on-site enrollment meeting, via telephone at the designated call center, or directly by visiting the open enrollment website.

FirstFleet is proud to offer a fuel economy bonus program that allows our drivers to increase their earnings based on fuel economy values. This short survey is designed to help define the structure of the program and to give you an opportunity to have your voice heard. The survey is quick and painless - the survey is just 6 questions. The week of September 13-19 is set aside as National Truck Driver Appreciation Week. The 3.4 million truck drivers on our national highways are a vital part of America’s economy and stability. We are afforded the opportunity to move goods from one end of this great country to the other thanks to the men and women who pilot them. It is this movement of goods that drives our economy in critical ways.

There is little doubt that most of you reading this message will recall exactly where you were when 9.11 took on new meaning in American vocabulary. Fourteen years ago today America became the victim of a tragic attack which lead to the loss of nearly 3,000 innocent lives. In the years that have passed we have continued to see the effects that these and other attacks have had on our lives and the lives of those intimately connected to September 11, 2001.

The latest release of the FirstFleet Mobile App brings a few exciting new features which are geared to keeping our driver community informed and connected. This release provides two new cards on the main screen and some less obvious but likely well received enhancements.

In this release there is a new card for our driver community geared toward connecting them with the closest authorized fuel stops in our network. Using the card is simple, just tap and scroll the list of stops within close proximity to your current position. In the coming weeks a new release will provide additional details about the stop such as the number of lanes, showers, types of food offered and more.
