As you are likely already aware all FirstFleet drivers are getting new fuel cards. If you have not already been given you new card please see your Fleet Manager as soon as possible to help us complete the transition quickly.

Chances are you have vivid memories of September 11th 2001. This is a day which will be remembered as a tragic day for our country in which thousands of lives were lost and scores of lives forever changed. Today we remember those lost in the tragedy.

Today we remember and pay tribute to those who have fought hard and given their all for the cause of freedom both here and abroad. Your service to our country is what allows us to remain the land of the free.

Don’t miss your FINAL opportunity to avoid ADDITIONAL increases in your 2019 health insurance premiums.  In order to avoid these additional premium costs EVERY COVERED EMPLOYEE under our health insurance plan must complete BOTH the Personal Health Assessment (PHA) and a Biometric Screening BEFORE July 31, 2018.

For the PHA, you can now reach the Blue Cross website directly from your FirstFleet portal account.  On your Employee Benefit Info page, you can on the link “Access BCBST” to log directly into your BlueAccess account.

Today is the second day of Roadcheck 2018. With 48 more hours to go there should be a lot of activity with the CVSA inspecting trucks a buses across the nation. Please make sure you have approved your logs in the 8-day tab and your trailer and shipping documents are correct in your load tab.

A quick reminder that RoadCheck 2018 starts on today June 5 and runs 72 hours thru June 7. ELD Hours of Service will be the main emphasis for all inspections but each inspection will be a Level 1 inspection which is the most thorough inspection for both driver and vehicle. Please make sure you have your visor card (DOT quick reference card) and at least 10 days of blank logs.

The 2017 Form 1095-C tax forms are now available for you to pull immediately by following the same steps used to retrieve your W-2 documents.  If you have not pulled your form by February 23rd, FirstFleet will mail the form to you.

The Form 1095-C contains important information about the healthcare coverage offered or provided to you by your employer. Information from the form may be referenced when filing your tax return and/or to help determine your eligibility for a premium tax credit. Think of the form as your “proof of insurance” for the IRS.
