Safety First - Quick Tips
posted on June 04, 2013 08:41
Don't short-cut your safety!
Your body needs 7-8 hours daily to keep you from being sleep deprived, don't settle for 5 or 6 hours. If you have felt your head drop down for a second, you just fell asleep, heed the warning signs before you get to this point, yawning, daydreaming, sore eyes are just a few, stop and refresh, fatigue is not a good guy companion to have with you driving!
If you continually let your following distance get down to 4 seconds, you will find yourself in a rear end accident, you need 6-7 seconds to stop safely.
Give the right of way, don't take it, and you'll be a model for professional driving.
Distractions lead to not paying attention to job one, safe driving, hang up the phone and just drive.
Obey the speed limit, a lot of other drivers don't, let the enforcement folks chase them, and not stop you and start looking further for CSA enforcement.
Safety or the lack of safety, can be a matter of just seconds! If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to
reach out to us
at any time.
