There are only 4 days left to make changes during this year’s Open Enrollment. If you do not wish to make any changes to your current elections you do not have to do anything, your elections will simply carry over into 2018.

We’re right in the middle of Open Enrollment and it’s moving by quickly! Now is definitely the time to review your current benefits and decide if they still meet your needs and the needs of your family. If you do not wish to make any changes to your current elections you do not have to do anything, your elections will simply carry over into 2018. However, you do have to elect new Flex Spending contributions if you would like to participate in a Flex Spending account in 2018.

Get Ready! This year’s Open Enrollment is October 1st – 31st. Open enrollment is passive again this year. This means that you don’t have to enroll unless you are making changes to your elections, electing a 2018 Flexible Spending Account, or opting out of coverage. Don’t forget, Open Enrollment is your one opportunity each year, outside a status life change, to make changes to your existing coverage. Open Enrollment Guides have been mailed out to those that did not elect electronic delivery of benefit information this year. To view Open Enrollment information online simply go to
www.firstfleetinc.com/openenrollment and you can view all of the 2018 Benefit Information.

The HMS Dependent Audit has gone extremely well, and I want to personally thank you for participating in this process and investing the time to provide the documentation needed. I know this was an added item on your list of things to do, and I am grateful for your participation.
We have extended the HMS Company Wide Dependent Audit to Friday, May 5th, to allow associates the opportunity to get those last minute verification documents over to HMS. If you are showing in an INCOMPLETE / PARTIAL status I encourage you to call HMS immediately at (844) 845-8350 to determine what documents you may still need to send in to COMPLETE your account in HMS. You can also review your account status by going to aduitOS.com and using your HMS Reference number.

Don’t forget! Next Friday – April 14th is the deadline for HMS to receive the verification documents for all of your dependents on the Medical plan. If you need help identifying which documents you need to send in or need assistance locating the agencies in your community where you can obtain new birth certificates, marriage certificates or other legal documents, please call HMS directly at

FirstFleet now has the ability to offer associates the opportunity to receive Benefit information and Notices via electronic delivery. By giving consent to receive benefit information and notifications electronically, you will be “In the Know” on new information and announcements. You can now receive important information like open Enrollment Materials, Summary Plan Descriptions and annual 401k information weeks before they would be mailed out.

FirstFleet is conducting a company-wide dependent Audit for associates that have dependents on the Medical plans. Mailers have been sent out today from our vendor, HMS, that is conducting the audit on our behalf. Please be on the lookout in the days ahead for your mailer as all associates with dependents on the medical plans are required to respond to HMS by April 14th to ensure continuation of coverage.

As a reminder our 2016 Annual Open Enrollment comes to an end today. If you act quickly, you still have time to make changes to your benefits elections for the 2017 plan year. The Call Center will be available until 5:00 pm EST today at (866)-824-2534 and the FirstFleet site www.firstfleetinc.com/openenrollment will be available until midnight EST. Log in using your firstfleetinc.com credentials to make the changes you need. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out to any member of the HR Team.

Open Enrollment Packets were just mailed out today to all FirstFleet employees eligible for benefits. Between now and October 1st, please take some time to carefully review your Open Enrollment packet to prepare for upcoming enrollment meetings that may be taking place in your terminal. FirstFleet Open Enrollment for the 2017 plan year starts on October 1st!
As in past years, between October 1st and October 31st, you'll have the opportunity to enroll one of three ways: during an on-site enrollment meeting, via telephone at the designated call center, or directly by visiting the open enrollment website.
