Back to School
posted on August 19, 2013 11:34
You can earn an A for your attentiveness in school zones and around school buses by driving defensively. The new school year has started and many school children are on the move. Be alert for bicyclists, crossing guards, children crossing in front of buses, children waiting at bus stops and running to them, and parents dropping off and picking up their children.
Remember that school buses will make frequent stops, school buses stop at all railroad crossings, and make sure you stop at least 25 feet from a school bus. A split second of inattention could result in a lifetime of heartache.
