The HMS Dependent Audit has gone extremely well, and I want to personally thank you for participating in this process and investing the time to provide the documentation needed. I know this was an added item on your list of things to do, and I am grateful for your participation.

We have extended the HMS Company Wide Dependent Audit to Friday, May 5th, to allow associates the opportunity to get those last minute verification documents over to HMS. If you are showing in an INCOMPLETE / PARTIAL status I encourage you to call HMS immediately at (844) 845-8350 to determine what documents you may still need to send in to COMPLETE your account in HMS. You can also review your account status by going to aduitOS.com and using your HMS Reference number.

It is likely that you have seen a commercial or advertisement for the Amazon Alexa device which provides for a spoken word interface to all sort of services from home automation to information retrieval. It may even be possible that you have one of these devices in your home. Even if you are not presently using this technology it is rapidly expanding the possibilities of interaction and will become increasingly present in our lives. How we consume information and how we interact with services around us is adapting and changing all the time.

FirstFleet now has the ability to offer associates the opportunity to receive Benefit information and Notices via electronic delivery. By giving consent to receive benefit information and notifications electronically, you will be “In the Know” on new information and announcements. You can now receive important information like open Enrollment Materials, Summary Plan Descriptions and annual 401k information weeks before they would be mailed out.

Version 2.1 of the FirstFleet Mobile app is being released today. This build is a continuation of our last user interface change with simplified tiles. There are a few new features that have been requested by the community of users and we are excited to release them today. The Android platform is presently accessible and ready for download but the Apple iOS version is still pending approval. You should expect to see that hit the App Store in a few days.

FirstFleet is conducting a company-wide dependent Audit for associates that have dependents on the Medical plans. Mailers have been sent out today from our vendor, HMS, that is conducting the audit on our behalf. Please be on the lookout in the days ahead for your mailer as all associates with dependents on the medical plans are required to respond to HMS by April 14th to ensure continuation of coverage.

To view or print your statement, just log into principal.com to view account information. If you have not yet set up an online account at www.principal.com. If you have forgotten your password, or wish to make a change, select "Forgot Your Password" on the password entry page. You may also contact a representative of the Principal Financial Group(r) for assistance at 1-800-547-7754. To help ensure you continue receiving timely e-mail notification as soon as your statement becomes available, please let the Principal Financial Group know if your e-mail address changes.

As we have discussed, the 2017 Wellness Program is underway, and one the requirements for 2017 is the Biometric Screening  to be completed by JULY 31, 2017.

All Blue Cross participants can obtain their personalized Physician Screening Form directly from their BlueAccess account. This change in the form allows you to print the form and take it to your primary care physician without having to complete any personal information prior to the visit.

The 2016 Form 1095-C tax forms are now available for you to pull immediately by following the same steps used to retrieve your W-2 documents.  These forms will be available for you to pull online through February 25th.  At that time, if you have not consented to pull this form online, FirstFleet will mail the form to you.

The Form 1095-C contains important information about the healthcare coverage offered or provided to you by your employer. Information from the form may be referenced when filing your tax return and/or to help determine your eligibility for a premium tax credit.

FirstFleet Wellness 2017 program is up and running!!  So let’s get started!

Blue Cross participants and spouses can begin the process of earning your Blue Health Rewards now by taking the Personal Health Assessment on the BlueAccess site and completing the Biometric Screening either during your annual wellness visit at your primary care provider or at a screening event at certain locations.  More information has already been mailed to your home regarding this process.  Please read that information carefully as there have been some changes in the rewards program this year.

As 2016 has now come to a close, we know many of you are anxiously awaiting your 2016 W-2 in order to begin your tax filing process.

Current and previous employees are NOW able to access their W-2 on-line through the FirstFleet portal. This process is very simple and similar to the process everyone uses to access their weekly pay information today. Those who do not download the tax forms online will have forms mailed by 1/31/2017. We hope you find this method of retrieval convenient and helpful in your tax filing process.
