In towns all across our country today Americans will celebrate the birth of our great country with family, food and festivities. As citizens of this great country we have the privilege of freedom and the right to choose. These blessings are not to be taken for granted or forgotten. They have come at a great cost to countless individuals and families throughout the history of our nation.

239 years ago our nation was founded with the hope and dream that we would one day be a great nation. It is with great thanks that we honor and remember those who dared to dream big in the name of freedom. Let us not forget that with great privilege comes great responsibility, and may today be a day of celebration, hope and unity for our country.

Today is a day set aside to remember and honor those who have given their lives to preserve the freedoms we enjoy as citizens of this great country. We recognize that we owe a great debt of gratitude to an untold number of men and women who paid the highest cost of their lives so that we can remain free as a nation.

It is our hope that wherever you find yourself today that you will be able to pause for a moment and reflect on the blessings of these freedoms and the find some way to honor those who made it possible. To those who are serving today or have served in the past we express our heartfelt thanks for your willingness to answer the call. Your service is greatly appreciated.

Today is a day to be thankful - a day to remember all of the blessing in our lives. For each of us there are no doubt a different set of things that jump out in our mind for which we are grateful. There are no doubt some common themes among us, but we are a diverse group of people with a diverse set of circumstances as well.

As I think about the things which stand out to me personally I am flooded with an attitude of gratitude. There are the personal things - my spouse, my children, health, caring friends and a collection of items that are convictions of my heart which are hard to articulate - but I am none the less thankful. There are undoubtedly blessings of country, freedom and an appreciation for those who sacrificed to ensure those things remained for future generations. We have much to be thankful for.

FirstFleet drivers enjoy a large and accessible fuel stop network that covers the needs of our drivers while over the road. In some cases you may find your self in unfamiliar territory and in need of fuel. In effort to help connect you with the closest fuel stop we have created a tool specifically designed to point you in the direction of the closest fuel stop from your current location.

Located at www.firstfleetinc.com under the title of Driver Fuel Network (login required) you will find a tool that can search for authorized fuel stops in a given state or located near your current position - using the GPS in your phone. The details of the fuel stop include the address, if the site has DEF, the stop phone number and a link to view the site on a map.

Friday I spoke with a driver our of Wichita Falls, TX. This driver was very helpful in tracking down a slight problem with the way the mobile site was presenting information in some situations, but he was also helpful because he brought to my attention the fact that it would be helpful to be able to view Hours of Service information when you are not in the cab of the truck.

In this conversation it became apparent that the driver wanted a simple interface to quickly view the status of the logs - how many hours remain, how long has a duty status been in progress. These details are known by FirstFleet so it was not a tough task to push this information directly to the website in a user friendly manner.

Most of the conversations that I have with drivers about our web site are good conversations - meaning typically folks are excited about the tools we have built and often even have constructive feedback to make it better. Over and over I have had the conversation that the site is good - but it would be better if it were mobile enabled. This conversation typically ends with me promising that we will provide this service in the near future. Today I am giving you a different answer, and I am very excited to share this news with you - today the site is mobile enabled. Give it a test drive - v...
